From long haul trucker to photographer

I didn’t start my career behind a camera—I started it behind a steering wheel.

For years, I drove long miles as a long haul trucker. Day after day, highway lines, changing light, small-town stops, big skies, and a lot of time to think. Somewhere in those miles I realized something: the moments that mattered most weren’t the big “look at me” ones… they were the quiet in-between moments—the way people connect when they forget they’re being watched.

That’s what pulled me into photography.

Today, I help families hold onto the season they’re in right now, the real stuff: the laughter, the chaos, the snuggles, the “my kid won’t stand still” energy, and the love that’s all over it.
